I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE
Hi there, I’m Sara
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist based in Ontario, and my work centers on trauma recovery. I bring a culturally sensitive and non-pathologizing approach, helping clients feel understood and empowered in their healing. I believe that symptoms are actually adaptations — creative ways your mind and body have learned to survive during moments of adversity, trauma, or hardship. I don’t reduce people to clinical diagnoses or treat therapy as a one-size-fits-all formula. Instead, I work with your unique story, your nervous system, and your pace.
Ultimately, I believe healing happens when we stop asking “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking: “What happened to me—and what coping mechanisms did I have to learn in order to survive it that no longer serve me?”
I have a background in psychological research and long-term disability support, and I specialize in supporting LGBTQ2S+ and Indigenous communities, as well as those navigating ADHD, narcissistic abuse recovery, attachment wounds, and healing from toxic relationships. My approach is client-centered, meaning we’ll work together to uncover what’s making you feel stuck and create a path forward that actually fits into your life.
Why choose to work with me?
If you’re looking for a space that specializes in trauma healing, takes a holistic approach, and is grounded in depth work (with a mix of warmth, honesty, and practical tools), there’s a good chance we’ll work well together. But the best way to know is to book a consult and see how you feel.
I may be a good fit for you if:
- You’re brand new to therapy or you’ve been in therapy for a long time, but haven’t made the progress you want to
- You have a history of complex trauma
- You want to build insight into how your history contributes to your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
- You want to learn evidence-based tools to cope with stressors or triggers
- You’re open to a holistic approach to therapy, where we examine your psyche, environment, and mind-body connection
- You want to improve your work-life balance
- You’re experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, or self-esteem concerns
- You want to improve your relationship with yourself and others
- You’re looking for a safe and inclusive space welcoming to queer, neurodivergent, and marginalized groups
I approach therapy as both a trained professional and someone who truly understands the weight of lived experience — including navigating trauma and living with ADHD myself. I know the importance of safety, trust, and authentic connection.
My work is grounded in humanistic values — you’re a whole person, not just a set of symptoms — and I believe that moments of lightness and humor can be just as healing as the deep work.

Areas of Focus
Complex Trauma Recovery & Nervous System Regulation
We’ll work together to calm the body’s stress responses, release stored tension, and create a lasting sense of safety. You’ll learn evidence-based tools to help you feel more grounded and in control, even when life feels overwhelming.
Self-Worth Restoration after Narcissistic & Antagonistic Abuse
This is a safe space to process the confusion, self-doubt, and grief that can follow toxic relationships. Together, we’ll untangle the patterns of manipulation, rebuild your self-worth, and help you trust your own voice again.
Healing Through Grief, Loss, and Major Life Changes
Whether you’re coping with the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, family estrangement, or a major life transition, therapy provides space to grieve, adapt, and find meaning. Together, we’ll work to acknowledge your pain while also creating pathways toward resilience, integration, and a renewed sense of self.
Shadow Work & Depth-Oriented Therapy
Through Jungian shadow work, dream analysis, and depth psychology, we’ll uncover the unconscious patterns and archetypes shaping your life. By bringing these hidden layers into awareness, you’ll be able to explore the parts of yourself you’ve hidden, rejected, or pushed away, and transform unconscious struggles into conscious growth.
Inner Child Healing & Attachment Repair
This work helps you identify the protective patterns formed in childhood, nurture the vulnerable parts of you that still feel unseen, and rebuild a foundation of safety and trust through self-compassion. Together, we’ll create space for emotional repair, allowing you to step forward with greater resilience, self-worth, and clarity in your relationships.
ADHD & Executive Function Support
In this neuro-inclusive space, together, we’ll explore strategies to manage overwhelm, executive dysfunction, time-blindness, and self-criticism, while building self-acceptance and confidence in your unique way of moving through the world.
